Editor and contributor Richard Butler, a resident of Mechanicville, N.Y., is an architect and writer who both skis and snowboards. He brings a passion to his writing, whether on the hill or touring a new on-mountain development. He has made the rounds professionally as a past-president of the Eastern Ski Writers Association and as a vice president of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association.

One can tell how much Mike Roth enjoys skiing by where - or how - he hangs his hat. Mike is famous for his pin-covered wide-brim, a road map of where he has slid down the snow. Mike is currently a board member of the Eastern Ski Writers Association. If an event is about to take place, Mike knows about it. Mike, who resides in Clifton Park, N.Y., will handle event listings and eastern resort features.

Chris Dehnel has been a journalist for 25 years and has won national and regional awards for news and sports coverage and column writing. He has been covering the snowsports scene for more than a decade and was one of the first mainstream journalists to embrace the new-school movement. A native of New York City and Connecticut, Chris currently resides in Las Vegas. He will serve as news editor and cover the West.
